During our sessions, we will work together to deconstruct the potentially complex situations that have brought you to therapy. I don't hold any preconceived notions of how you ought to live your life, and I customize my therapeutic approach to meet you wherever you are. Together we will gain an understanding of what strengths, resources, and skills you may have that will assist you in loosening the grip problems have over your life.

My perspective when working with couples is that the couple itself is the client, rather than each individual involved. Together we will investigate what hopes, dreams, and goals you share for your relationship. We will also gain an understanding of what has gotten in the way of these goals and dreams from materializing, so that as a couple you may realign with one another to face problems head on as a team.

I approach family therapy similarly to how I approach couples therapy, in that every family member is equally important and I consider the family unit as the client. Often a parent, child or adolescent may shoulder unhelpful blame. I believe every member of the family deserves equal dignity and respect, particularly in the therapeutic space.
The Office
We will meet in my office in Redondo Beach. I am also available for telehealth sessions for those who do not live near by.
